Topic: Scala. Monads from zero to hero.
Speaker: Kyrylo Kozlov, Scala developer at www.megogo.net
Level: Beginners
Language: Russian
Abstract: In the first part of the talk, we take a look at basic stuff in scala-lang that you should be familiar with to understand monads. On the second part of the talk, we take a look at examples, applications and other interesting properties of some monads.
Note (important): talk is based on two courses from Odersky on coursera.org, so if you already finished these courses, then the talk may contain nothing new for you, except the order of how to present this knowledge.
Note2: There is no need to know Scala, but experience in Java or other statically typed languages is preferable.
